Booth Western Art Museum
Overview
Come See America’s Story through contemporary Western art, Civil War art, Native American artifacts, Presidential portraits and letters, and so much more. Located in historic downtown Cartersville, the Booth Western Art Museum is the world’s largest permanent exhibition space for Western art.
In addition to “Seeing America’s Story” in our galleries, visitors can experience American heritage through annual events, lectures, educational programing and exhibition openings. Each March the For the Love of Art Gala Weekend features live and silent art auctions generating funds needed to help support the Museum’s mission. October brings the annual “West Fest” with Native American dancing, gun fight reenactments, a Western marketplace and so much more. "Family Night" offers families the opportunity to join us for nights of fun, educational activities for all ages! The Museum also welcomes visiting artists and scholars to speak at monthly lectures such as our " Art for Lunch" or the "Singer-Songwriter Series" and exclusive exhibition openings throughout the year.
